Growing quality botanicals since 1979
We have been growing high-quality Certified Organic herbs in the Applegate Valley since 1979. We know the types of herbs that do well here and have selected varieties to fit our microclimate. You can count on us to know the herbs we grow and sell. Everything is done with care, including selecting the seeds that we plant, growing starts in our greenhouses, cultivating a pristine growing environment, adding organic nutrients to the soil, and finding the perfect time for harvesting and shipping.
In addition to our farm, we have built good working relationships with many other Certified Organic growers in the U.S. and around the world. We have been sourcing herbs from them for many years. We only do business with growers that meet our high standards. In 2023, our farms became Regenerative Organic Certified®. We're also Certified Organic in growing and processing by USDA and Oregon Tilth.
Quality
It starts with seed and soil
Most of our seeds are collected from our plants. Our microclimate takes advantage of the abundant rainfall of the southern Oregon coastal flow and the irrigation water from the Applegate River watershed, whose source is the snow melt of the Marble Mountains Wilderness area. Our soil has been enhanced by cover crops, rotated for maximum soil nutrient replenishment, and fed with organic ingredients. We also rigorously inspect everything we grow and source.
